It’s been a long and tiring day.
But Summer Palace is just breathtaking and awesome.
Take a look.
I dunno if this is the main “temple.” But it’s indeed grand.
“Buddha-lettes.” Mini Buddha (?) figures on the wall.
This bridge got my attention. I was going down a steep hill when I saw this one. And this is just one of a lot of magnificent structures in the park…
…until I found this spot. It’s so scenic and mysterious that I thought it’s perfect to drown in a pensive mood here.
I took a photo of this lady at that same spot. She liked it and took a candid shot of mine. In return, I asked her if we can have a selfie. Here it is!
So going on, I saw this hall and thought to relax for a while.
I walked after…
…seeing this yin-yang pattern…
“…don’t disturb! I’m checking my photos.”
…and saw this guy doing Tai Chi by the lake. “Ready, set, FIGHT!”
…until I reached the Jade Bridge, patterned after the one in Hangzhou.
Continuing my stroll, I saw this field of whatever plants on a frozen lake.
Shake hands.
“Where am I?”
The beauty of sunset.
Then I reached the 17-Arch Bridge.
…and did some drama by Kunming Lake.
