Beijing Bucket List: Winter at "Summer"

It’s been a long and tiring day.
But Summer Palace is just breathtaking and awesome.
Take a look.
 


 
I dunno if this is the main “temple.” But it’s indeed grand.

“Buddha-lettes.” Mini Buddha (?) figures on the wall.

This bridge got my attention. I was going down a steep hill when I saw this one. And this is just one of a lot of magnificent structures in the park…

…until I found this spot. It’s so scenic and mysterious that I thought it’s perfect to drown in a pensive mood here.

I took a photo of this lady at that same spot. She liked it and took a candid shot of mine. In return, I asked her if we can have a selfie. Here it is!

So going on, I saw this hall and thought to relax for a while.

…seeing this yin-yang pattern…

…and saw this guy doing Tai Chi by the lake. “Ready, set, FIGHT!”

…until I reached the Jade Bridge, patterned after the one in Hangzhou.

Continuing my stroll, I saw this field of whatever plants on a frozen lake.

Then I reached the 17-Arch Bridge.
