After several days of heavy rain, it’s time to get out this weekend and enjoy the warm weather. We’ve recently rounded up some fantastic family-friendly events in town, but if you like to chill out while helping a cause, then head to the British Embassy Residence this coming Friday afternoon (July 20).
Happening there is a fun-filled fundraiser for the benefit of Assert (Angelman Syndrome Support Education & Research Trust), a UK-based charity helping children with Angelman Syndrome, a genetic disorder that mainly affects the nervous system.
Mom and dad can munch on British eats while the bouncy castle keeps their kids busy. Aside from all things tasty and juicy, this family event also has an auction and a raffle with prizes ranging from a diamond necklace worth GBP 600 to hotel stays to signed football tees from no less than the Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham clubs! All proceeds from the auction and raffle will go to Assert.

All ages. RMB 50 per ticket (buy tickets here). Note that the registration link closes 11.59pm on Thursday. Free for children under 17 (registration and ID not required).
