2017 is the Year of the (Fire) Rooster, and online soothsayers said those born under this animal year won’t be seeing the greenery pastures the Pantone Color Institute had declared in December.
It’s definitely a good start this year. Though I’m almost veering away from news writing, my current job is proving more and more exciting as I can do the things I like and love the most — writing, traveling, and meeting people.
New Year resolutions are silly and somewhat an expedient and myopic checklist. If people want some change to happen, then these resolutions shouldn’t box them in just checking achievements or targets.
My current work and travel have become my doorstep to other exciting things to come in 2017, and I claim that. As the cliche says every ending is a new beginning — I’m looking forward to doing more sensational things in 2017!
