#AtoZChallenge – Pandemic Journal: Korean Wave

I truly need to find time writing in advance because my Pandemic Journal entries this week are all delayed. This month is quite work-heavy as I have to produce four magazine articles, two of which are 3,000-word profiles. Just thinking of the concept and the angle makes me feel so tired already.

But on to my delayed K-day entry: Korean Wave! I had grander plans for this entry, but I will keep it short and update it later this month.

Korean movies and TV series had been my friends during the first few weeks of the pandemic – and this happened before Parasite won Best Picture at the Oscars 2020.

Since this is a quick note, I think I won’t be able to list all the Korean films that I watched during the period – I think I have them saved somewhere, but I have to retrieve the list later, once I finish today’s work.

  1. I still need to see Parasite. Everyone keeps telling me it’s incredible.
